Let’s start by answering “What is post-frame construction?” What this refers to is a building system where load bearing posts are located at corners and usually every 10 or 12 feet around the perimeter of the building, with girts running horizontally between them to support metal wall panels. The roof consists of a truss system which supports wood framing (called purlins), which is in turn sheathed with a metal roof.

Post-frame buildings (also called pole barns or pole buildings) are sturdy, economical, quickly erected, and very flexible in their design. They may be built with gravel or concrete floors.

Made Right specializes in post-frame buildings for a variety of needs, from a basic storage shed to more detailed projects such as equestrian and light commercial use structures. We use a steel web truss system which offers wide open areas with minimal overhead obstruction.
